Project GO
March 30th, 2007 by Jason Cullum
OK. I am going to keep this short. I have a fellow blogger who continues to whine about the lengths of my blog. He’s just jealous.
I picked up a new book the other day. It is the latest by one of my favorite authors, Marcus Buckingham. He has written, as far as I am concerned, the greatest book on management ever written; First Break All the Rules. He followed that book up with Now, Discover Your Strengths and The One Thing You Need to Know. His latest book is simply called GO Put Your Strengths to Work.
Go is written in a workbook style with an intro, six steps and accompanying on-line videos. It is meant to be completed over a seven week period. Each section has activities and questions to complete before you move on. I thought it would be fun to share with everyone as I journey through the book and grow personally as a leader.
If you want to play along you can: 1) Purchase the book and read with me. 2) Answer the posted questions yourself. 3) Read my responses and post a comment. 4) Just read along.
I will cover the introduction and answer the questions later this weekend. Until then, lead on.
good work! I like how you think. And, btw . . . I’m not jealous, I just have children to raise and I can’t justify spending 17.5 hours reading just one of your blogs!!!! You da’ man!
